Hello folks
New kid on the block here.
I live full time in my converted school bus and have a job as a carpenter. I have 24 / 6 volt deep cycle gulf cart batteries (wired for 12 volts) built in and 1200 watts of PV solar panels and a 400-watt wind turbine to keep them charged. In the summer time I move around but in the winter month I stay put on a farm or a vineyard here on eastern Long Island. This kind of life is not for everyone but I love it. I would love to hear from any other bus/truck home dwellers }:o)
Peace along the way
Dennis the bus dweller N.Y.

Tue, August 9, 2005 - 7:38 AMHey Dennis, welcome! Kudos to your solar panels and wind turbines...my mother-in-law and I were having major conv. on turbines last night. She is from Iowa...when we flew out there....you could see the turbines on the fields. It was so amazing. We need to push for more alt. energy in this country!!!
Peace,
Melanie
